I am the Associate Director of the Electronic Textual Cultures Lab (ETCL) at the University of Victoria, a lab I’ve been a member of since 2012. I’m also an interdisciplinary PhD Candidate at UVic, studying open social scholarship and its implementation.
I’m interested in how we can share academic research more broadly, and doing so in ways that are findable, usable, and interesting to lots of different people. I explore this through researching and writing articles and reports, connecting with researchers, students, and partners, and organizing and participating in academic conferences and events. I also have the pleasure of serving as Project Manager for the Implementing New Knowledge Environments (INKE) Partnership, as well as helping out with the coordination of the annual Digital Humanities Summer Institute (DHSI).
I hold a BA Honours in English from the University of British Columbia and an MA in English from the University of Victoria.
